Trinity Church | Family, youth and children’s ministry

We love children and we love to strengthen families.  Our desire is to provide excellent, gospel-centered service to your family. Here are some of our goals:

1. We want you to feel at ease about your children while you experience the weekly worship services. All of our Trinity volunteers and leaders are screened via background checks. They have a passion to help your kids learn more about who Jesus is and how to live according to God’s word.

2. We want your kids to enjoy coming to church. Whether an infant or a 5th grader, we seek to provide environments that enhance church experience for every age group. Each class will be led through times of music, Bible stories, illustrations with practical applications - all based on the Gospel.

3. We want to equip you as a parent to be the spiritual leader for your kids. The most practical and regular way we do this includes the “Devotional” sheets provided each week at the Promise Kingdom Registration Table. These sheets outline conversations you can have to lead your kids into a deeper understanding the Gospel. From time to time, we may also offer a parenting class.

If you have any concerns, questions, or comments regarding Trinity’s youth ministries, we would love to be of service to you. Please know that the door is always open, regardless of the issue, when it comes to helping you become a better parent. If we can be of service to you, please email Pastor Brent at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .

AGE GROUPS:
  • Nursery
  • Toddlers
  • 4-5’s
  • Primary (Grades 1-3)
  • Junior (Grades 4-6)
  • Jr. High (Grades 7-8)
  • High School (Grades 9-12)

Promise Kingdom
Promise Kingdom is the name for Trinity’s children’s ministry during the 11 AM worship hour. The words “promise” and “kingdom” speak of God’s kind plan to gather His people under His loving rule. The Gospel is the fulfillment of God’s promises and is offered to all of us and our children.  It is our goal that every child who participates in our ministry grows to have an accurate understanding of the Gospel and to know where they stand in reference to the Gospel. We offer classes for children 2 years old through 4th grade. Our staff is composed primarily out of the parents of our church, who serve on a rotating basis.

God’s Story

We believe that the simple message that Jesus died for our sins can and should be taught, even to our youngest children. A primary way we do this is by using the curriculum called God’s Story.  God’s Story walks through the Bible, from Genesis to Revelation, relating every story of the Bible to the big, unstoppable story of God’s redemptive plan. All the children from two years old to fifth grade participate. In addition, we offer parents a five-day devotional guide called Get into the Story to take home and use during the following week. Beginning in Genesis, this three-year program announces the unfolding drama of God’s promise to put an end to the curse of sin and to restore his kingdom.  Access the weekly devotions here.

Your Child's Safety

Security is a priority in our Promise Kingdom classes. Children and parents are checked at the beginning and end of every session through an identification numbering system intended to ensure their safety.

4 Real

4 Real is what we call our ministry to high school students. What’s with the name? The name 4 Real signifies the four identities on which our church life is structured: family, missionary, servant, and learner. We want our high schoolers not only to interact with the Bible in practical ways but also live on mission for what God has called them to. 4Real meets once a month on Sunday evenings at 7:30, and also one other evening during the month for an activity. The gatherings are centered on the four identities. Please check the Calendar of Events Page for the next meeting time. (Need to link to the calendar page from here)
