Community Group leaders lead their groups in making disciples who make disciples. This necessitates that leaders themselves have several relationships with not-yet believers that they are intentionally discipling to Christ. This means that leaders need to be involved in several relationships with not-yet believers to disciple them to Christ. Leaders also help each person in their Group to have at least one person that they are intentionally discipling to Christ.  

Leaders of Community Groups also function as pastors of small churches. They regularly pray for, disciple and shepherd those under their care. They lead their Community Groups in speaking the gospel to one another and to the community outside the church.  

To help them in these roles we provide monthly Community Group leader training, usually held on the second Sunday of the month at 4:30 PM. Leaders are expected to participate in 10 of these training meetings annually.
